Hi I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for good songs for somebody who has got the hang of tabs but isn't amazing (yet... smile.gif)! If it helps, I recently found Spanish Romance on here and that was great. I have also just printed out Moonlit Sonata(I know it's a step up, but I thought I'd challenge myself!)
Thanks in advance!B)

All Nirvana songs r quite easy to play, I started with them! good songs could be: Polly, Come as you are, Rape me, Dumb, Pennyroyal tea... They all sound great on an accoustic guitar! biggrin.gif

3 doors down is a good one. well, you'd probably want to use this to get 'stuff', anyway..
Maroon5 this love is kinda ok to learn, should be able to handle it.
John Mayer - Body is a Wonderland. nice song to use in 'those' situations.
Hash Pipe by Weezer, it's probably the easiest song to play. open open 2 3 on the 6th string.

Enjoy! wink.gif

Also, if you're interested in more modern rock you can learn a lot of good foo fighers songs.

"Learn To Fly"
"Everlong"
etc..

If they're already playing Moonlit Sonata, Green Day may be too easy. *laugh*

Good point, but I still play Green Day, just for the hell of learning a song in 5 minutes......Moonlit Sonata would be a good stretching exercise...

Just getting back into Guitar looking for free Guitar tabs. Having trouble finding tabs for Maroon 5.
Did something change? It used to be easier finding tabs a few years ago.

The days of cranking out songs like "Brain Stew" and "Geek Stink Breath", ah, those were the days...I might just go chug out a Green Day song in memory of struggling with hand cramps from those pesky power chords...
