Hey, I'm looking for an Upright Bassist, Fiddle Player and Celtic/Irish Flute Player in the Detroit (Michigan) Downriver Area. I play Acoustic Guitar 6 String & 12 String and have done so for about 27 years. I like the Folk, Bluegrass, Celtic/Irish Genres. Just wanna have fun making music. I'm a member of (MYB) Meet Your Band. You can view my profile there at www.meetyourband.com/kinnordaviyd

Waiting to hear from you!

The Detroit Acoustic Society meets on the second Sunday of every month at the Attic Bar at 3 PM in Hamtramck. There are always a couple of upright players at their meetings and not infrequently a fiddler or two. Flutists and pipers don't show up often, but they have on occasion. Basically a few hours of very informal acoustic jamming. I'd suggest you attend a meeting and you might find a musician or two you're looking for. You might wanna even join. I attend the meetings when I'm in the area at the right time. (All free, of course.) Next meeting would be... (looks at calender)... September 9th.
