anyone got one of those new micro cube bass amps? Rate Topic: -----

to put it bluntly: no. my friend has the guitar version of one of those and it's like playing your instrument through laptop speakers. they're small and portable, but small speakers like that can't even drive the low end on a guitar. you're better off plugging into your computer or a small headphone amp.

yeah i know what you mean. I played one at the guitar center and it was crap. like a toy. plastic speakers. very cheap feel to it. going for one of these now..

I bought a MarkBass CMD121P a while back and I will state for the record that it is by far and away, the best combo I have EVER played through:

They are expensive.....but worth every penny! I now find myself leaving the "big rig" home and taking it with me instead.

very cheap and not loud enough. might sound good through the pa.

if you have the cash and want top quality get the GK micro. I have one and took it into a pro studio and ran a Fender Jazz in front and everyone was totally blown away..including me. unbelievable sound.... Jazz Bass + GK micro amp.... five stars!!!!!
