Hi guys,

My Dad bought me a new laptop but registered it in his name. Everything is easy to change, except the "My Documents" folder thing, which is simply called "Martin" (Dads name).

Can someone tell me how to rename this particular folder? When I right click on it there's no rename option like there is on a normal folder, so apparently it has to be done another way. I've renamed the administrator and all that, but it still won't let me change the folder name.

Any help is appreciated

It's not advisable, one of Vista's new features is that it will report the laptop as stolen if you manage to change certain registry keys such as the My Documents folder.

Simple solution, do a complete refresh of the system with the recovery discs that came with it, that is the best way to get rid of all the excess crap that gets preinstalled by the manufacturer as well.
