This crashed my desktop. I am now forced to browse programs. Which effectively destroys my ability to use the better system tools in my xp gui.
I've went to microsoft forums, but the links sited are useless, and don't lead me to any results.
Has anyone else had this issue?
Is there a way for me to repair my system w/o using my restore, and furthermore, how can I access system restore from my task manager.
PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASE!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????????

1.) obtain an XP disc surreptiously
or
2.) buy a copy of windows vista
also: I never recommend restores because they are incredibly unreliable.

Thanks, I love these, makes the cp run smoother and fixes any false commands in the system.
Ha, hilarity ensues; NOW my symantec antivirus deletes threats, after malewarebyte finds them, of course.
Useless, stock program.

Poo indeed.
On a lighter note, springy, you program suggested that I reboot. Upon doing so, my old old pals, the desktop icons greeted me, all 30 of them. Its nice to see my toolbar as well.
Much obliged.

+1 some programs will start to ###### about... well nothing really, but just refuse to work after a restore. The only restore that works is a image restore, but making images is something you should've done when the system was working. Was this post helpful ? I doubt it.
