Hi guys, I want to record my amp's sound through mic, feeding straight into my laptop. I;ve tried hooking up a Dynamic mic, connecting it to a 1/4->1/8 adaptor, straight into the mic in of my laptop. But when I record, I get a horrible interference static sound in the background.

what could be the problem? I don't have any idea on the impedance or something about mics, but I'm guessing that could be the problem... or is it necessary to get a specific mic to get the job done?
