Hey all,

Over summer, I picked up a Yamaha RBX-550 from a used pawn shop for 110 (freaking amazing deal). Anyway, long story short, I need new pickups and was tempted to get all the pots replaced (the wiring is circa 1990). Since their passive, I need some suggestions for the two I am tempted to get (note - if you have a better suggestion than these two, I'd love to hear it).

First off, we have the DiMarzio DP126 P&J set - http://accessories.m...-Set?sku=302285

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Between those two I'd say go for the Dimarzio's. They're bound to sound better than EMG (EMG passives aren't so great in comparison to other passive pickups). I'd check out some GFS pickups. Fairly inexpensive and they sound pretty good.
