Right click was working fine until a friend wanted to upload some pics from a camera.

Instead of creating a folder for the pics to go to , he uploaded 300 and something pics to my desktop !!!!

Well I have cleared that up ....but since then , my right click does not work . (Rebooting didn't help)


I have scanned my entire computer with 1) McAffee , 2)Avast! ,3) AVG 8, 4)Malwarebytes and 5)Windows Defender.

They all come up clean , so I assume no viruses, Spyware\Malware etc ..

I am assuming the mouse is fine.

Any ideas folks ?

switch the mouse function buttons in the control panel. see if the problem still happens with the right mouse button.

and by that I mean switch the right and the left click button in the control panel. This will tell you in an instant if this is a hardware issue or a software issue. You could also try to remove the HID drivers from the device manager . . . . . but simply plugging it into another computer will tell you whats going on much faster . . . . . mice are very easy to troubleshoot . . . native HID drivers installed with the OS.
