This is basically the problem, other than that it beeps when it's a particularly hot day or if I try to play a game on it or something. I've had the cover off for a while because of it.
It's pretty old. I'm probably gonna use what I can from another PC I've been given, or vice versa, soon.

Hmm, not sure it is.
It's a very erratic beeping and it does it for a while, and if it's turned off and then back on it doesn't happen at all.
