Hi just for general interest really here's how to play the spoons.

Well, that was the easiest instrument I've ever added to my kit.
...but how long will it take to become a virtuoso? huh.gif

laugh.gif Not much expense in the way of equipment either! I have seen some pretty good spoon-players though, using fairly complex poly-rhythmics, double-spoons, etc. Often playing spoons will just be one more thing out of a "bag of tricks" used by an... informal-music percussionist. (That's not a bad way to put it!) His "thing" might include the spoons, a rub-board, sticks, shakers, broom-work, maybe even jews-harp or whatever. In the right genre and setting, things like that really can add to the music.
Un-plugged is not the same as
never-was-plugged-in-to-begin-with.
