I've just realised that I've got webspace and never used it but I could do with some simple web design software. My idea was to design the pages on photo impact as jpgs then just highlight the links if that makes sense?

Dreamweaver is extremely easy to use for basic stuff, being good with it is another trick in it's own but really it's simple to comprehend.

Learn HTML! it's easier than you think and gives you more control. Also you can save a lot of word processing progrmas in HTML format and use those.

This is my webpage that took about 3 days using HTML:

It's not gonna win any awards, but it works as a website.

I'd forgotten this thread. I gave in and spent £300 on a college course to learn web design using dreamweaver, fireworks etc

Free for me tongue.gif I have Dreamweaver Portable which is nice for working on while you go. HTML is such a pain in the ass and Dreamweaver makes sure that all your tags are marked properly and you can view your pages in the program as you go. Plus you don't have to memorize all the different codes for text colours which really is a pain to do when you can just select what you want.
