I'm rarely in here, but I just reformatted my computer using the same key for Vista as before and now it's telling me it's not valid for activation.

I'm not spending two hundred dollars for an operating system I've already bought. Is there a way you guys know how to fix this?

Is it that Windows Genuine Authentication thing that comes up when you try to update your OS? Cause I have a fix that can help you out by making your CD key valid but I only know it works for XP, I will have to find out whether or not it works for Vista.

Nevermind, I fixed it with a phone call.
