Is there anyone here who still delivers on the requesting of tabs?
Sometimes. Can you provide a link to the tune?

I love Joe Walsh
I like him quite a bit too. (I saw James Gang four or five times and Barnstorm once. One of the bands I was in years ago used to do "Funk #49" and "Walk Away" and then later "Rocky Mountain Way" and "Life's Been Good.") Anyway, I can try to tab a bit of this tune, enough to put it together. Off hand, I'd say there are probably (at least) three guitars over-dubbed on the recording, including one adding some back-up slide tuned to open-A (EAEAC#E).
I'll give it a shot. I have a couple of old fingerstyles I'm working on now so it might be a week or two.

I would appreciate it as well. There are actually a few james gang tabs that need to be tabbed. For example "Collage". I didn't have a problem figuring the basics and tuning for that one.
If anyone cares to give it a listen...

I haven't started tabbing this one yet (I'm still working on my last fingerstyle tab), but after listening to it a few times and quickly messing with it a little bit I think there's a good chance he actually used open-G in parts of it (which of course is, in a relative sense, the same as open-A just a whole-step lower). The very opening line, just before the sixteen(x3) pulsing bass-guitar A-beats, (doing a mute then double-strike G + mute then double-strike D) would need to be done on a guitar tuned to where the D-notes were lower than the G-notes that preceded it. That could only be done on an open-tuned (either G or D) or dropped-D guitar. Walsh didn't play in dropped-D (on any recording that I'm aware of). While you could get that note-sequence in either open-D or open-G, open-G (DGDGBD) seems most likely because then you also have the A-chords (Barred 2nd-fret) the G-chords (open) and the D-chords (020230) that he used in the first part very accessible near the nut.
Anyway, just a thought while briefly messing around with the tune. I'll really get into it more when I finish up the fingerstyle I'm working on.

I've actually figured some of the song (in standard tuning) (or at least I think) out through fiddling around. I was just hoping for a complete tab to compare notes (which I would still love). I'm not sure what the chord is called, but I know it's used in the main verse of "Rock n Roll Damnation" by ac/dc . It seems he is playing that, along to a open a, and the strums open and uses a tremelo bar. Check how he plays the chorus here in this video. it seems that he slides down with the same pattern, down the the 9th fret, and then moves to E5? and then to D5. Let me know if this makes any sense. I'm not familiar with the chord names, i just know how they sound.
