I suggest the DPS100 Super Distortion humbuckers, I have one in the neck of my Ibanez RT650 and it just roars, great for playing hard rock and metal.

I may put a sd at the bridge, or a multibucker. And a Dimarzio PAF at the neck.
Don't know what type of trem to get until i recieve the guitar, and see what fits. -------------------- |

Don't know yet. It is a locking nut, but I may still go for a vintage trem, if I can.

Good luck finding a vintage style one with two mounting posts, otherwise you are going to have two holes on the body.

Can you get the same sustain as a vintage style, clamped down with five spring. -------------------- |

Do you want the trem to still be moveable?
Id try that fathead thing for the headstock we talked about awhile ago in my thread. I do notice that my charvel(with the copper plate) does have better sustain than my jackson rr3. Possibly not due to the headstock plate alone but I think it does contribute now that it was explained to me. They both have licensed floyd's. -------------------- ![]() |
