I've got nothing against 2 chords songs. Some old British Skiffle tunes were made that way.

Neither do I, many Grateful Dead tunes and even some Jazz tunes I play like John Coltrane's IMPRESSIONS which is just Dm7 and Ebm7

There are plenty of two three chord songs that are now great classics. Like I said... case in point smile.gif

U2's Bullet the blue sky springs to mind, as well as Bob Marley's Exodus, woody. The latter makes me think about many Fela Kuti tunes, altough they tend to modulate, does that count ? If modulating doesn't count, you could pop in Syd Barrett's Vegetable man too wink.gif
