The most essential album to have come out since 2000 is probably Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. Someone should write something for that.

Yeah I guess. But I'm lazy. I could probably do it next week sometime though.

I have a small question for you guys who use this forum:

Do you prefer to read "home made articles" like i did for Dylan and Pink Floyd, or
do you prefer to read articles pasted from an internet site with real sources and written by professional rock-critics?

i would prefer homemade articles. i think that people who write such a thing themselves contribute to GTU more than all thse "copy&paste" folks. wink.gif

"Their live shows are enhanced by frontman Brad Marr's explosive performance"

I know which one i'll do. I wanted to be the 1rst to write on the Beatles here. But
i just can't make up my mind. So i've decided to take the reader to the cross road
of modern music; and that was precisely the Beatles split. And which album could
be best to tell about this period of rock history? george Harrison. "All things must
pass" that gem by one of the beat guitarist ever. So be prepared reader. smile.gif

Yes. Its sad that no one has done a Beatles album yet. I think you should do one dorio. Maybe either Revolver or Sgt. Peppers would be perfect.

i think it would be good if we had some more classics...

Jimi Hendrix-Are You Experienced
The Band-Music From Big Pink
Tom Petty-Full Moon Fever
Grateful Dead-Workingmans Dead
The Eagles-Desperato
The Doors-LA Woman

all those would be more than necasary.

blink 182, im thinking, it shouldnt be essential/influencial albums, it should be album reviews so we can review bad and good albums, coz i feel like i shouldnt make another album review even though i works on them for ages becoz not many like my style of music, so we should just make it any albums and give them ratings and review them

i think reviews are irrelevant. it should be up to you whether you like something or not and not have someone else tell you before hand so that you have already formed opinions about an album before hearing it.
