hey . people are always asking what good acoustic songs i can learn? or what i can play for girls ......heres a bunch of good songs u can play.......for a girl or wateva.....does it matter that much?

about a girl - nirvana
pennyroyal tea - nirvana (alot of nirvana songs for that matter)
angie - rolling stones
nothing else matters - metallica
fade to black - metallica
stairway to heaven - led zeppelin
tears in heaven - eric clapton
layla - eric clapton
under the bridge - chili peppers
my friends - chili peppers

like a stone - audioslave (awesome on acoustic! if u play it properly)

i know theres so many more but theres a list of good ones that i could think of right now....post more so we have a good thread for acoustic songs..and if you want 2 play songs for girls play any song by jack johnson!! hes crazy...all his songs from his 2 albums are all gr8!.....heres some of my favs by him.....

flake
wasting time
poor tayler
f-stop blues
inaudible melodys

so many more tho!

oh! by the way if u live in sydney turn 2 FM 101.7 haha classic hits!
ur never ending resourse for cool old acoustic songs i think so! haha

Thats a nice list you've got compiled here. You might want to seperate the songs by perhaps occasions on which they could be played, that would be helpful.

Unless of course you were just giving us a list of cool songs for any occassion.

Hmm, that might be a nice idea for another thread. "Songs for the Occassion"

(except I'm not sure if I spelled occassion right. Maybe just one "s?")

I love "My Friends" by Red Hot Chili Peppers. That's my favorite! huh.gif cool.gif

The video is quite funny with a big drum pounding part and Chad Smith (drummer) has just one drum hanging around his neck. Like a little drummer boy.... Then there is the random Flea in women's clothing like every RHCP video.

Classical Gas by Mason Williams. Kewlll song from 1967. Add that to your list.
Also From The Beginning...by Emerson, Lake & Palmer.
