i lvoe this forum
it feels more like home than the discussion forum for me so it's terrible to see that it doesn't get much traffic.
i'm the only one in here at the moment

perhaps life in the fast lane of the discussion forum has made me a bit impatient with posts but is there a way we could get more peopel in here?
advertising or seomthing?

i'd really love to see it grow and flourish smile.gif

0h i think it will grow. Just give it time. As long as this forum will benefite the
feedback from guys like Dadfad and Halfmoonbay and improv . Everytime i've asked a question they've never failed to come with the right answers. The 2 mods
winkie and Capo are very active too. And as far as i can see more and more ppl
are interested by this forum. Let's not forget that the main competition is the
guitar Q&A itself.

Yeah, this is the one I'm probably most comfortable in too. Not just "like-instruments", but in a way more a forum for "like-minds" as well. People that have become acoustic-people are just a little different (I'll refrain from saying "better" laugh.gif ) than most guitarists. More of a mind-set of "the pursuit of the guitar as art" sort of, and a way of looking at things that that may imply. I think as more people become aware of the forum, it'll grow.

I like this forum, even though I'm more of an acoustic 'borrower/stealer' than an acoustic 'player.' Aside from the more 'on-topic' discussion it's nice and laid back and there's plenty of humour, inter-user banter and interesting deviations (kind of like 'Effects...' only with less gearheads and toys smile.gif ).

The 'Effects...' forum started off slowly and was based around a small (but dedicated) bunch of gearheads, but now it's getting a fair bit of traffic and there's a good bunch of regulars in there and there's a lot of interesting and informative discussion going on (discussion that perhaps wouldn't have happened had there not been a specific forum for it). So I reckon that, with time, the 'Acoustic...' forum should grow and prosper, and be a nice utopian society where humankind can live in happiness and porsperity and free from oppression and enjoy the rights of..... well, maybe not the last bit........... but like I said, in time it'll grow. smile.gif

I hope not!!! (Not quite as big anyway) We'll start having polls about "Who was the best acoustic guitarist who ever lived: Kurt Cobane or.....(whoever that ex-boyband guy is)"!

I think it means "oh my fucking God, it was Cobain. Oh my God, what the fuck."

That might not be right, though. Translation is open to interpretation. dry.gif
