i'd prefer easier ones in terms of voice but go nuts on the guitar.
i'm just getting bored of playing songs that require two guitars, like tears in heaven.

Neil Young: sail away (easy stuff)
Lennon: imagine (the easiest stuff)
Simon & garfunkel: the boxer (finger style)
Bod Dylan: desolation row (you can ramble on it)
george Harrison: while my guitar gently weeps (so many ways to play it)
You'll find those 5 oldies goldies at tablatures. Enjoy.

Ben Folds Five 'Superman' is very easy to do on guitar while it sounds better doing a two or three finger picking pattern, it comes almost as wonderfully if you just flat pick it.
TLC's "unpretty" comes off great on a classical or a steel with light delay.

Milkcow's Calf Blues
That makes twenty-nine. Like I said, some have alternate takes now available (which I thought was like striking gold when those old masters were found in the vaults in the late 1980's). I'd only had the original twenty-nine for twenty years (which most bluesicologists thought was all that had ever existed). Anyway, there are his tunes.

the reason i started this thread was because my band kinda quit on me and no longer want to jam, so i was thinking of going into battle of the bands as a one man act this year. I've also never seen an acoustic at one ever and this'll be my third one attending/playing in.
these are my ideas for my set (it's gonna be 20 minutes), so if you guys could pick some good ones out of this list it'd be much appreciated.
-Needle and the damage done
-classical gas
-sweet baby james
-bron-yr-aur
-black mountain side (maybe)
-little martha (maybe)
-tears in heaven
-redemption song
-Ohio
-f*ck her gently
-blackbird
-let it be (on piano, i'm thinking about this one too.)
-under the bridge
-more than words
also if you guys have any better suggestions... pass em on.

'Tears in heaven' can easily be done on one guitar, but if you want a real challenge try something by John Martyn like 'Solid Air' or 'May you Never' , or anything by him, but be prepared to change you tunings every now and then.
Or James Taylors, 'Frozen Man' or 'Like Everyone She Knows' from the 'New Moonshine' album. They're easier than they sound and will always impress. And btw people will know me for belting on about how good Olson Guitars are (as well as Lowdens), but if you want to hear the best Olsen ever made, it 's being played on those two tracks.

So many. All songs (within reason) can be played acoustic if you make up your own picking pattern around the chords

"Entertaining, professional, did I say entertaining?"
"Their live shows are enhanced by frontman Brad Marr's explosive performance"
"Remember the Name Brad Marr, in time you won't be able to forget it"
