good stuff, its a lot different playing a solo gig from a bull band gig. all the presures on you where in a band there is more people so only a third or a fourth of the crwod are looking at you.
well done on the success, and good luck with the next one

Pssh, I dunno what you're talking about, back when I preformed with a full band everyone still watched me wink.gif

i'm gonna be doing some stuff similar to you for my school's battle of the bands, i'm entering as a solo acoustic, i'll bet 10$ i'll be the only one there with an acoustic. i'll be playing mostly instrumentals, but that's cuz my voice has gotten ######ty over the past year. anyhow, congrats. hope all goes well in the future.

Yes, there really is nothing like it...the pressure, and the reward during and after.

(And MisfitsChick, it'll go away. The first time I played on a stage my knees shook so bad I had to try to get them to knock in time to the music! The fear goes away, but, if you're lucky, the "edge" never does.)

Acoustic is definitely more raw, and more focussed on your talent as a player and a singer. I love playing on my own infront of a crowd, more of a kick, and i'm never nervous until I come off the stage. What a buzz!
