for 20bux...i'd probably do it though, it could take all the time it wanted to get to me, as long as it eventually gets to me

These guitars (I think the Johnson is probably what you're talking about.) Vary hugely in quality and construction. Theye're basically disposable guitars! Half the time they varnish over the frets! (Buzz Galore!)
As far as follow ups go if anyone contacts you saying that an item is unavaliable or to try and sell you stuff in addition to you purchase on e-bay. PLEASE forward the email to e-bay staff. That sort of thing is not tolorated!

I then replaced the tuning pegs...and put the deepest sounding accoustic strings i could find on. And the little thing sounds hilarious! ive sat on it..dropped it...tripped over it...and done everything but throw it in the oven! and beleive it or not it still holds a tune just fine. Great for camping trips...cause its all about your style and the way you play...it will still sound good...and you can even pass it around without the worry of someone ruining your gear!
Just a thought!
its saved my AZZ a few times... and i can be convieniently played in the comfort of your own bathroom!
You're all liars if you try to tell me you dont play when your in there!

For example:
I bought a 120 quid westfield acoustic, put on some badass melodic bronze martin strings and it sonds amazing, my friend who owns a 1200 pound martin acoustic has tried to buy it off me several times, and in the end went to purchase his own. However, his one sounds far too bright and tinny, and has extreme fretbuzz.
These cheapo disposable jobs are ok though, i got a 'santana' spanish guitar from my local supermarket for 15 pounds for camping trips and its great fun, you can really hammer it cos of the nylon strings.

As for strap endpins, my Takamine has only one too.
And on a side not, might want to lower the action on your guitar if possible.
All you need to do is take your strings off and put an allan key into the hole for it. If your guitar was that hole, you will find it in the soundhole, right in the middle, topside, under the fretboard. Turn clockwise to lower, anti-clockwise to rise the action. If you don't have such a hole on your guitar, you might want to ask John (Dadfad) for some technique to take the fretboard off and put something beneath it. You're guitar's neck will become a wee bit thicker, mind.
Hope I was of help to you.

to lower the action just file away at the nut /saddle. make sure you don't go to far so try it a small bit at a time. or else take it to a tech and let him set it up properly for you.
guitars like thaose cheap ones are supposed to be good for learning slide because they are cheap, have high action , not many overtones. and the quality of the fretboard doesn't matter either. so everyone should have one really.
( it is true too that they make for good playing in the loo, i've done it
