(Sniff...sniff..... poor Bambi) (Ummmm.....
) Congrats, Okie. I haven't been out since my kid was a teenager (but I changed my mind at the last minute and brought him home alive after all haha!!!) I never was any good at it, but my grandfather's jerky was top-notch. There's a "connoisuer jerky" place I get it from in the fall (lotta road-kill up there about then
). Good jerky is more temptation than Lay's Potato Chips.

Hey, Dad, ya know that little project that ya got goin' fer me? Hows about I send ya some jerky in the return post for your trouble?
My son and my nephew did well on the bucks. The nephew's went 11 points and dressed out at 135 which is nice for an Okie buck.
I'm not real proud of mine, but I did the job with a redhawk. I'm proud of getting one with a six shooter, that limits you a bit.

I give you a lot of credit, Okie. I've got a Blackhawk .357 myself (had to put a decent grip on it though, I was worried about my forehead

OK, we have a deal. You're gonna like my jerky.
My redhawk is a 44 mag. I have a 2x leupold on it and the extra weight keeps it from jumpin' some. If ya can hold it steady it'll reach out there and touch somethin'. The big boys tell me it's good for deer out past 100 yards, but for me they need to be inside 75.
I need to work on that some, maybe next season I'll be good at that 100 mark.

Nice gun you have there, Okie. I wimped out for the .357, but I don't hunt with it (I don't have time to do much of anything anymore except work and sleep, and a few spare minutes for guitar here and there) (Someday.....I hope!). Yeah, I just have mine mostly for uninvited guests. I started keeping it here in my office drawer a couple years back when a few companies around here actually had three or four guys come in and stick up the whole plant. (Do you believe it??? What a lot of nerve. They sure won't get my money or guitars of the walls of my office) (Not easily, anyway. I still got plenty for 'em at home without the Blackie.)
Anyway, sounds like a deal to me! (And if I ever drop by, I'll make sure I'm well announced. Wouldn't wanna be in the cross-hairs of that.) (Or find some red-dot on my forehead like some married Indian lady or something. ha!)

We have very little in the way of crime around here, knock on wood. Most of that stuff goes on over around Tulsa. Got some hillbillys cookin meth scattered around the hills, but they're just killin themselves slowly as their teeth rot out. Maybe that's what Darwin had in mind as far as humans were concerned.
You'd be more than welcome for a visit and all you'd need to do is make friends with my big ass black dog, Great Dane, named Shaquille......big, black, can't shoot freethrows. Bring that hog shooter of yours along with lots of ammo, we have a range right here on the place.
Hell, if ya give a day or two's notice, I'd get some fish thawed out, there's always catfish fillets in the freezer, and fry em up fer ya.
Sounds like ya have alot of bad guys runnin around up in your neck of the woods. They'll be in for a surprise if they come in your office. If nothin else they'll leave with some bad ears. You ever let one of those rounds off in a small enclosed area? The concussion is amazing.

Okie, thanks for the in-vite, and I hope I can take ya up on it someday. Now that my boy is gonna soon be settling in Arizona I expect I'll be driving through your neck of the woods once I'm done serving my time in this place. I'm not big on flying unless I absolutely have to (if God wanted me to fly, He'd have put a jet-fuel tank behind my ass-hole). So I'm big on "the scenic route" and all that. You take care of the catfish and I'll take care of the....er......"after-dinner apertif" haha!
Yeah, I have had a big 'un go off indoors and I know what you mean. I had more bells ringing than Saint Mary's on Easter morning. (Never use a 10 guage on somebody's ass climbing out of your window. Wait till they get out, stick the barrel through and pull. And aim for the head! haha!) (Old age has made me meaner and too lazy to make that first round re-loaded salt and ju-ju-bees!) (Now it's a roll of dimes
) Yeah, I've considered that using that Blackhawk inside just might finish the job that years of Marshals and Mesas started! But I figured if it ever happens, the shop area is where all the fun will take place and that's big enough to ease it a bit.
Anyway, sounds good. We'll re-cycle brass while our wives tell each other horror stories about us behind our backs. Tell ol' Shaq "Woof-woof" for me (which means keep on practicing those free-throws and someday they'll name a gym-shoe after you).

That would put a whole new slant on Boom Boom Boom Boom now wouldn't it.
I spect alot of the youngsters around this place just don't realize the close link between blues guitar and fire arms, hehehe, bet most never were in a juke joint.
Dad, you keep us in mind when ya hit the road to the desert. I'm just a couple miles off route 66.
