I'm thinking John or someone can help out with this, I'm wanting pieces that are ment to be fingerpicked, like a sweet version of "away in a manger" (just an example) or something.
(thats just what i'm looking for, any christmas songs will do)

I don't have it tabbed, but a few years back someone asked me how to play it. I didn't tab it but I went through it and explained it a part at a time. Here's what I sent him.
What I'll do instead now is show you the chords and partial chords and
I'll also try to show you the pattern and sequence for playing the
strings. Generally these will be a two-string plucks with your thumb and
first finger, also there can be additional strings used (usually in sort
of a rolling kind of way, and usually after the pluck). The way to do
this is very discretionary. As you learn the tune you may want to make
changes that reflect your personal taste and style as to how you play it,
but I will give you a very good base from which to start. Where I think
one of these "rolls" (brushing or arpeggiating extra strings) is especially
important, I will note it. Generally speaking, the more flowing notes you
can add give a richer, more full sound to the tune, so experiment and feel
free to use your own additions to what I show. I'll use the letters p (for
pinch, and name the strings pinched while holding the chord or partial
chord shown) and r (for a roll or arpeggiation). The key is D minor. It
can be played in standard or (preferably) in Dropped-D.
- (a) X00231, p 2&4, p 1&3, r (roll)
- (b) X00233, p 1& 3
- (c) X00505, p 1&3, r
- (d) X00707, p 1&3
- (e) X00505, p 1&3
- (f) 022001, p1&5, r
- (g) 022000, p 1&4
- (h) 002210, p 2&5, r
- (i) 002230, p 2&4, p 1&3
- (j) X00231, p 1&4, r,(Trill 1), 2&4<(two times)
- (k) X02020, p 2&4
- (l) X02030, p 2&4, p1&3
- (m) X02220, p 2&4, p 3&5, r
- Now repeat lines (a) through (i) and then go to:
- (n) X00231, p 1&4
- (o) X00230, p 1&3, p 2&4
- (p) X03330, p2&5, r
- (q) X03300, p2&4
- (r) X03330, p2&5
- (s) X32030, p2&5, r
- (t) X02010, p2&4
- (u) 000232, strum this entire D chord. This ends the
first portion of the tune.
If you are in dropped-D (DADGBE) instead of standard tuning (EADGBE),
this last D chord will be very rich and resonant. While it is not
necessary to use dropped-D for this tune, the fact that you don't
need to play any other notes on the 6 string (the only string that's
changed) makes it very easy to do so with no changes in playing the
previous parts. (Should you want to try dropped-D, all you need to do
is lower your 6 string one step, which sounds the same as the 3 string
but one octave lower).
I've only done this first portion so you can see what my arrangement
sounds like. If you like it, and it helps you to play the tune, then
I'll do the rest of it for you.
Is this sort of like what you're looking for?

And to Redhotguitar, no the six-string open D-note is an octave lower than the 4-string open D-note in dropped-D (DADGBE). The six-string fretted on the 12th fret would be the same as the open four-string.
And here's one chorded, just to mess around with and try to "fake" your way through it fingerstyle. Add a few plucks and rolls, maybe a hammer-on or two.....

Greensleaves -Traditional
Alas, my love, you do me wrong
To cast me off discourteously
For I have loved you well and long
Delighting in your company.
Greensleaves was all my joy
Greensleaves was my delight
Greensleaves was my heart of gold
And who but my Lady Greensleaves.
Your vows you've broken, like my heart
Oh, why did you so enrapture me?
Now I remain in a world apart
But my heart remains in captivity.
I have been ready at your hand
To grant whatever you would crave
I have both wagered life and land
Your love and good-will for to have.
If you intend thus to disdain
It does the more enrapture me
And even so, I still remain
A lover in captivity.
My men were clothed all in green
And they did ever wait on thee
All this was gallant to be seen
And yet thou wouldst not love me.
Thou couldst desire no earthly thing
but still thou hadst it readily.
Thy music still to play and sing
And yet thou wouldst not love me.
Well, I will pray to God on high
that thou my constancy mayst see
And that yet once before I die
Thou wilt vouchsafe to love me.
Ah, Greensleaves, now farewell, adieu
To God I pray to prosper thee
For I am still thy lover true
Come once again and love me.
