Hotel California - the 70s and 90s versions solos. I love both solos, but I think the 70s one has a better first note. Joe Walsh and Don Felder are amazing in those solos

Goodbye to Love by The Carpenters (Outro solo)

First solo I ever fully learned and as close to perfect as any I've heard in any genre.

The Stranglehold (by the Nuge) guitar parts. That whole song is just amazing.

Also Comfortably Numb or Time by Pink Floyd.

Awesome solo with the reverb then it seems to fade back in from an empty room. But mine would be "Tuesdays Gone", All of the lead(Gary Rossington) and "Gimmie Back My Bullets"(Gary Rossington), both from the greatest band ever, Lynyrd Skynyrd cool.gif

Crossroads - Cream (hard to believe it was live)
Blue Sky - Dickie Betts (Duane's part isn't as great but that's cuz i guess guitar soloing gets boring after a couple of minutes)
Highway Star - Jon Lord and Ritchie Blackmore (i know Lord was the organist but these guys harmonized almost everything, it's a solo duel of epic proportions)
Layla - Duane Allman (crazy slide work)
Statesboro Blues - Duane Allman (see above)
Little Wing - Stevie Ray Vaughan (my god, i could only dream of sounding like this and having this much control over my tone)
Whole Lotta Love - Jimmy Page (absolute coolness)
The Ballad Of Curtis Loew - Gary Rossington (amazing slide work)
The train kept a rollin' - The yardbirds (CHOO! CHOO!)

You wouldn't believe how many people I've meet who had no idea who the Allmans were. Or that Duane performed with Derek and the Dominos. They normally credit all the lead guitar they hear in that band to Eric Clapton.

Actually Ed King did the slide work on that song, just look at the credits for the songs on the album.
