well i don't know that song but here's a short list of songs w/ a capo.

Bob Dylan - Don't Think Twice (It's Alright) [capo 4]
Bob Dylan - Blowin' In The Wind [capo 7]
James Taylor - Fire And Rain [capo 3]
James Taylor - Something In The Way She Moves [capo 3]
James Taylor - Carolina In My Mind [capo 2]
Oasis - Wonderwall [capo 2]
George Harrison - My Sweet Lord [capo 2]
Eagles - Hotel California [capo 7]
John Mayer - You Body Is A Wonderland [capo 1] (you can play without as well)
Beatles - Here Comes the Sun [capo 7]
Harry Chapin - Cat's In the Cradle [capo 8]
Rollin Stones - Gimme Shelter [tuned in open G, capo 2]

k maybe that wasn't short but it should help a lot.

"That'll Never Happen No More" by Blind Blake (capo 5, orig-cut/capo 7 alt-cut if I remember correctly). Also, you might want to try putting your capo on the second-fret barring only strings 1,2,3,4,5 leaving the 6 open. You'll have "Dropped-E".....the E will play like a D-shaped chord, the true-A will now play like a G-shaped chord, the true-B will now play like an A-shaped chord, etc. Almost like playing in dropped-D, but all the other chords are played normally.
Un-plugged is not the same as
never-was-plugged-in-to-begin-with.

John Jackson -My Teacher and My Old Friend

When the roll is called up yonder he'll be there

You can play anything you want to with a capo, as long as it doesn't go too high.

yeah, i'll play anything w/ a capo, mainly because most of the songs i play/sing are originally a guy singing, and i cant sing that low, so i have to make it a bit higher

Sounds great with the capoed 7 and with someone else playing non capo

Free Falling is a good one too, one guitar is capoed 4 i think it is (not really sure), and the other plays non capo

John Mayer - Comfortable (capo 3)
A very beautiful song actually, I think he's underated as a guitarist. He has a very creative style

John Mayer - Love Song For Noone

The Calling - Wherever You Will Go

Elton John's - Rocket Man
I play this Capo 3

Who is the mod in this forum? You guys should make a thread with all the songs in this thread (songs with a capo) and pin it. If you want, I could do it, and you can pin it for me.

The reason I suggest this, is because, even though I haven't been here all that long, this type of post seems to come up a lot.

I'll give the mod a PM of this message, just in case he/she doesn't read this.

Yeh, TABs are more often than not wrong. sad.gif

Once saw a song ("Raglan Road", trad. Irish) to be played capoed at the 8th fret. It sounded well horrible. rolleyes.gif

Probably lower if at all capoed. All depends on the key in which you sing most dynamically.
