Hey i play an epiphone acoustic and was wondering if anybody else does.... is this a ######ty brand?

They make some very good guitars and some very bad ones.

my epiphone more than does the job! Mine even says gibson on it as well...correct me if im wrong..but epiphone is just a sister company of gibson.... for a starter accoustic...cant go wrong

It's actually the same company, but a different brand. Like Fender -> Squier .

I've played a few decent epi acoustics, but I played one... hooo boy... lets just say: "it will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine".

yeah my ep. has gibson on the neck... i think it does the job and sounds pretty sweet but i hadnt heard anybody say they have one in here before.

yeah my gibson is 16cm, on the shaft... its quite adequate and i can play with it pretty well in my spare time. rolleyes.gif

i have a 70;s japanese epi... very sweet beutiful guitar plays very well... doesnt sound as nice as martin or taylor but its very decent

My first guitar was an Epi. My mom had it in high school or college. I can't date the serial number. It was made, I think, between '78 and '81. It's a PR-650. It has been either discontinued or renamed. Very nice guitar, but I still prefer my Ovation Elite.
