Alright besides my alvarez, i have a really cheap Mark II beginners acoustic that was bought for me by my ex. so i could learn how to play. well i have a new better guitar now, so i never play it.I really want to do somethin to it cool, that would make it sound better/difffernet. I think it would be cool to have a bass acoustic, if there even is a thing. Maybe you guys could throw me some suggestions in what i should do..
Thanks
josh

Acoustic bass' are nice however I fal to see how you will turn a regular acoustic into a bass dry.gif
Bass strings are much thicker and stronger than guitar strings.
If you were to string this old acoustic with 4 bass strings (this would be after you changed the machine heads because I wouldn't have thought they would fit through) i would imagine the tension would tear the acoustic in 2.

Why not just draw a pretty picture on itor something? rolleyes.gif

I seriously am contemplating to let everyone who ever comes to my place write something on my sh!tty guitar and then fix it with Fix Spray. That would be cool, something personal and it would be special too. smile.gif

Lennon painted his J-160E in the 70s, after having stripped off the finish for the White Album sessions. It was crazy psychedelic.

1) Sand
2) Paint
3) Clear coat of sealer

At least thats how I would do it, and it doesn't seem it would be that hard.
