Adam Kadmon's Guitar Grimior CHords and voiceings is the best guitar chord theroy and implimentation book I've come across.
But you'd really have to be a total guitar geek to make use of it.
If you just want a chord book for looking up Am or Bsus2b13 to the power of -9
Check out the new chord computers avaliable in all the catalogs, online stores and the odd brick and morter music shop.
A decent chord book is going to be around $20 a new chord computer generally goes for the same price, the pages don't fall out and it dosen't take much space in your gig bag/ case. (They're also backlit so you can use them in the dark!)

Just an idea... Not an actual serving suggestion.
