I was browsing the acoustic guitar section at musiciansfriend.com, and I saw a Wasburn D100 Acoustic for just 100 bucks. The list price it says was $330. Is this a good guitar?

Opinions......?

Looks good but go to a store and try one there before you lay down $$$. See if you can locate a store that has A&L or Seagul. They make a great product for a little more $$$

Hi
I dont own that model of washburn but i have the folk sized model 8, its a nice
guitar for the money I payed £130 pounds for it eighteen months ago.
It has a nice sound and lovely action.
It was the first guitar I had bought and I still play it. even though I have two others.

100 dollars for a guitar does sound a bit cheap, but try one and see what it is like
mine has a lovely low action, which has never been altered, and my other guitar needs altering all the time. and I paid lot and lots more for it.
give it a go if you like it. I like washburns.

I have not checked the link, but just because a guitar is cheap doesn't always mean its a crappy buy. My first guitar was a 100 dollar "lotus," I ended up snapping the neck in a very irresponsible accident. It was a fine guitar.

I own a Washburn D42S which cost me about NZ$950 here in New Zealand, 2 years ago. That's about US$500. I just love it - great tone!

It looks pretty good. Spruce tops are lovely things, really shines through.

Doesn't look bad to me..but beware, often the actual guitar can look different than in the picture. So if looks matter much to you, youre better off buying it at a store where you can see what you are buying.
