Didn't they release something called "The Black Album" which was like an EP? It sounds sort of familiar to me. The Damned released an album called "The Black Album" (which was like a deliberate reversal of The Beatles White Album back in 1980) and I remember feeling irritated that someone had ripped off the idea. I can't remember if it was Metallica though.

i havent heard of it but i'm not a big metallica fan

also has anyone heard of an album called the grey album??? apparently someone has spliced the beatles white album with snoop dog's (i think its him, or maybe another big rapper) black album!! it got pulled off the shelf pretty quickly because the person who mixed them didnt have any permission to do so.apparently its quite good, though i've never heard it dry.gif

Metallica's fifth album (if you don't consider garage revisted to be an album...) is officially called Metallica. But since the cover is all black, except for a snake in the corner that we could barely see. So this is the reason why the fans called it The Black Album. Much like Led Zeppelin IV wich isn't really name IV...

As far as a Metallica white album, i've never heard of it. One of my friend is a huge Metallica fan and he has all sort of import of Metallica stuff from all around the world (it cost him a little fortune to gather all this stuff) and he never heard of a white album either. So i can say that i'm 99.99% positive that there is no such thing.

So don't punch those kids in the face but you can rub it as much as you want in their faces!!! wink.gif

apparently some stupid rapper, mixed the black album by metallica and the white album by the beatles and called it the grey album...

the guy is ripping off TWO bands, he might have put in three hours of real work, and he's making money off of it. who the hell would buy this?

The Grey Album was mixed by a bloke named Danger Mouse, and it's a mix of The Beatles by the Beatles and The Black Album by Jay-Z. It's supposed to be pretty good, actually, but that kind of rap isn't my style and I hate to see the Beatles fxxxxx around with, so I'll listen to one track at most.

i would'nt mind hearing a few tracks just to see what its like, you never know, you might like it blink.gif

and another remixed album that is quite good is 'dub side of the moon'. its not really remixed, more like remade. i'm not sure if its one band or a bunch of bands that remade dark side of the moon, but it really is quite good if you like reggae. money is especially good

If I could just remind some of you guys about the rule regarding swearing Rule #4. I don't care what happens in the other forums, lets just keep this one clean OK?
