That'd probably look amazing in person, and I'd cherish it forever. However, in those small pics it looks terrible.

That's BS and you know it. Even if you hated it, you could sell it laugh.gif
And adds, I like it. I just think it's bloody ugly in the small pics.

I think it's a bit overdone myself. What do the winged angels on the back have to do with the history of Martin? I admire the artistry that went into it, but it is not my taste. Perhaps recreating one of the 1800's "Stauffer" guitars that C.F. Martin began building would have been a nice homage. Oh well, what is my opinion worth to Martin & Co.?

Sure, it looks good...but does it sound good?

Oh, who am I kidding?!? It's a MARTIN!!! They could make a 6-string port-a-john sound beautiful!

However, some of these other guitars with 'nifty' inlays and all, are just that, nifty inlays on a piece of wood...no sound quality. I played a 'done up' Gibson (can't remember the model, 'cept it cost close to 4 grand) that sounded like my Yamaha F-310...good, but nothing spectacular.

Either way... I like that guitar, the Martin D-100. I'd love to hear it's sound.

i think it is a cool guitar a bit to overdone with the ivory and all that but i think its the design is awesome and all but i would never play it. i would be afraid to brake it or something considering its 100,000$. kind of dumb if u ask me to spend that much on a guitar. huh.gif

i'll grab that thing from the headstock, and jump 3 feet off the air, finally slaming it onto the concrete ground.

I don't like it. The bage colour... and the fnacy floral designs everywhere. It just looks OTT. The neck looks like it has a rash, and the designing on the back of guitar spoils the nice grain of the wood.
