Wow so i was on the Takamine site today browsing. And i looked at the limited edition. I found the one from 2003, its beautifull. Very cool design cool. A beautifull bald eagle.

Rosette: Eagle
Top: Solid Spruce
Inlays: Eagle Eye
Back: Solid Rosewood
Sides: Rosewood
Fingerboard: Ebony
Electronics: CT4B
Tuners: Gold & Pearl

Tekamines are definatly in my list for my next accoustic guitar...there so beautiful and i love their sound.

Nice guitar, very classy. I love the little rosette extension in the soundhole.

It doesnt do anything for me.The eagle rosette is just un called for.

Agreed. Excessive and tacky. The colours of the eagle are terrible. I mean it works sometimes for a rosette, but only when it's a small thing, not a big obtrustive thing with a brown colour. It's like somebody got a sticker out of a magazine and stuck it on...

I like simplicity. Alvarez has that 12th fret diagional marker and that's it. At least this one looks tasteful and not over done. That martin 100 series was disgusting.

it's impressive, but goes along the lines of the martin from awhile back, it really doesn't do anything for me. i'm not a collector, i'm a player, and that looks like a collector's guitar. just my opinion.
