My vintage, hand made (found in the garbage) acoustic has finally truely crapped out on me. I'll keep it as an ornament, as it is beautiful and old as the hills.

Anyway, I want to buy something that feels good and stays in tune. I live in Korea, so I'm thinking about a cheap made in Korea Fender. Mainly because if it doesn't become sentimental I can sell it with the Fender name. So, my question is, how much does a made in Korea Fender acoustic go for in North America?

Low end fenders are pretty cheap. Shouldn't cost you more than about $150

So "Fender" means nothing anymore, eh? I can get one here for around 85$

I should probably stop being such a miser and just buy whatever feels right.

If you're looking for an entry level acoustic. Try epiphone, alvarez , Yamaha, Washburn, Guild, Ovation, While taylor makes an entry level acvoustic (Taylor 110's are about $500), I don'd think you could find a martin below that price (maybe an X-Series if you got a good price. I'm pretty sure Gibson just won't either (that's why they have Eiphone)

Fenders sell here for $200 usually (basic dreadnought)


Fender still has expensive guitars ($1000+ for an american strat) but all electric....


If you can get one for that cheep, go for it. You will easily get your money back in the states...
