Well, heres another official acoustic of the week. I've changed the layout this time. One official "Acoustic of the week", one cheapo' guitar which is quite a nice guitar, and one interesting looking guitar, strange and unusual. If I do another I might try to stick to this format. So since this is my second time typing this out (Bloody back button, I lost it all first time) i'll begin:

Gibson SJN 1962 Reissue
Allthough the name states it's a "SJN reissue" it looks more like an old Country & Western. The name states it's a reissue and from the description i'm guessing it's one of those Sheryl Crowe models, but dont let the name put you off!

Beautiful guitar.

The least he could have done is rotated the image... Bah.
And the price:
£775.00 (Reserve not met - yet). Expensive, yes - but over priced? God no.

So theres the acoustic of the week. I had it layed out a lot better, but i'm mighty pissed after loosing it the first time.
More information, pictures and description here.

Cheapo' of the week:
Hofner Senator

Beautiful colour...

Very classy instrument

Price? £200.00 (Reserve not met yet). Five days left - coud grab a bargin, and a piece of history!
More information and pictures here.

Acoustic of interest:
Ovation USA 1778T Elite
One for the metal heads...

Make what you will of it. I think it's horrible! laugh.gif

Well it's certainly different...

I dont know what to make of it. It looks... "Cool". But all the same it's ugly!

[i]Interesting. That sum's it up nicely. Make what you want of it...

Price? £699.00 Buy It Now price. Well the Gibson mentioned above is only a little above that... I think i'll pass. But theres no denying it, it's an interesting guitar!
More information and pictures here.

Well, there you have it. Another "Acoustic of the week". Apologies on the lax' layout, I had it much better done, but when I lost it all in an unfortunate pushing of the keyboard shortcut for my browsers back button ( mad.gif ) I lost it all and had to do most of it again.

True... It's so different I said i'd include it though... It's like the Epiphone gothic range, only they'r doing it to an acoustic... That should be a mortal sin... laugh.gif

I like the look of that Gibson. Whoever gets that is one luckly shmuck.

The Ovation is just plain wrong.

It's the nicest Gibson acoustic i've ever seen which was in a reasnable price range. And it's cheap at that. Theres a fair few of them on Ebay at the moment, even though sometimes theres none of them. They seem sort of hard to come by.
Heres a few more of them!

Nice post. The Gibson and the Hofner look very cool, and the Ovation should die.

Well, maybe the neck could be fire wood, the rest of it you could throw on the fire and then cook meat on it.

Yeah! I know they use plastic backs, but... Well this one looks like the whole body is plastic! laugh.gif...

Never been into Ovations myself. There's something about that dish-shaped back that turns me off (and plastic to boot!).
