Actually, I posted this in Q&A, then moved outta my brain cramp and realized this should have been the forum to post it in
Looking to up my existing Ovation Celeb Delux 12 string with something in the 1500-2000 dollar range (CDN), so thats about 1200-1600 USD. I like the Ovations but have an open mind. So Taylor, Gibson, Martin, Larivee......
Also, in my search, have come across the Rainsong W3000 12 string....anyone diddled with this stick at all? Cant find any around these Kanadian Bacon area of the woods.
Any thoughts?

Out of the ones you mentioned I prefer the Taylor (although I've never played a Rainsong). I have several 12-strings, including a couple of Gibsons. When I bought my last Gibson (a new J-185/12) I ALMOST bought a Taylor K-65 instead (prices were pretty close, the Gibson went on sale and saving $300 made me choose it over the Taylor). I wish I'd bought the Taylor instead. The Gibson is great, but (and I don't say this often) the Taylor was better.

Not off-hand, but it seems like they make (or maybe made) one. You could of course order one, but it wouldn't be cheap.
