I just got his CD the loop, amazing! I love keller williams but bieng in Ireland I cant go see him. Is it a solo gig with him using the sampler? That stuff is really impressive, a whole band from just the one person! I hope you enjoy the show.

Yeah, he's an amazing guitarist. I got to know Kaki King first (Danke Rebecca), then on her website was a review that mentioned Michael Hedges which was of simular style. So while searching in kazaa Keller Williams came up. Not as good as Kaki but by god he's good still! I love "Vacate" and "Stupid Questions".

Yeah I just checked out Kaki's website. she is phenominal! But she just plays the guitar. Keller plays much more. he plays the bass, mouth trumpet, beatboxes, plays the pvc pipes, he does all kinds of crazy ###### on stage, pretty much like michael hedges. You can't really get a good feeling from the studio Keller stuff. its the live shows that really blow your mind. seamless perfect looping, 4-5 instruments one after the other and building the layers into one crazy tripped out jam. He covers stuff to and adds he quirky funk to them. One in particular was 'All Along the Watchtower', amazing!! Most fun I have ever had at a concert. I was right there in the middle at the front. Just putting an argument out there. hehehe. Kaki rocks bro, I want to catch one her shows sometime. Do you guys hear any Phish over there in Ireland?

Phish, i'm sure i've heard of them yes but never actually heard any of their music.
Williams did all along the watchtower? That'd be one to hear! I heard hedges version (quality stuff) but I'd love to hear a williams version...
What I find so amazing about Kaki is that she can incorperate guitar and precussion, lead and bass lines all at once with the one instrument without using any electronics or multitracking or layering or anything...
Keller rocks too though! I've heard some of his studio stuff, boo... The loop, his live album is the best by far. I'm hoping to get a live album of michael hedges too - I got beyond boundries and was a little dispointed so I'm thinking a live album might be a bit better.
