I recently found my grandpas old classical, could anyone tell me the difficulty level in restringing them. Looks difficult, but maybe not.

This posts talks about restinging it. Different technique for sure. Plus don't you use nylon strings or something?

Yea...I've heard that they also make them out of cat guts or something..but they are hella expensive...and don't last as long...but thats OLD SCHOOL

I wonder who thought of using cat gut anyway. Someone with way to much time on their hands.
