I have an old acoustic guitar that my dad got when he took lessons. He gave it to me, but I'm not farmilier with the brand it is.

Carlos guitars Check out the guitars in "section" 6.

Not sure if that/those are what your talking about, but it has carlos' name on it. biggrin.gif

Did the brand logo look the same as on your guitar? Just curious if there is more than one Carlos guitar manu.

I couldn't see the headstock of the guitars, so I'm not sure.

I recently found my grandpas old classical, could anyone tell me the difficulty level in restringing them. Looks difficult, but maybe not.

yeah like 1600's old school, stringing a classical is not that hard, its just learning the way you tie it at the bridge.. Just find a good site with pictures/diagrams and you'll be good to go.
