Time of your life(rememberence) by green day is a classic acoustic song...classic in the sense that everyone has prolly heard it.

If you like the beatles, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds is a sweet one.

Others:
Dust in the wind
Drive-Incubus
kryptonite-3 doors down
I'll be here a while-311

FYI Search around here and you can find ooogles of lists of acoustic sets...mainly it is more determined on the player's ability than OUR ability to posts songs we know...

Rock night... right

Go for some well known songs like That's Entertainment- the Jam
High & Dry, No Surprises, Fake Plastic Trees or Karma Police - Radiohead

It depends also on what kind of audience you will have. If it's "old" people laugh.gif you might feel like putting in something like "the Boxer" by Simon and Garfunkel, if it's younger people then arrange songs that they will recognise.

Very good point,

You should always design the set around the audience you are going to be playing for.

Love the acoustic set!! smile.gif

Pearl Jam - Betterman
Pearl Jam - Alive
STP - Plush
Foo Fighters - Everlong
Foo Fighters - Learn to fly
Eagles - Hotel Cali.
Barenaked Ladies - Brian Wilson
Clapton - Wonderful Tonight

My bud's band does a wicked Metallica medley as a sort of a break between sets, sounds great, a bunch of different songs meshed into a 10 minute interlude. Might be cool to try out!

Mannnn, I wish I had a girlfriend that could play guitar! Then I'd be SET. Tell your boyfriend he's a lucky man! wink.gif
