I've been looking to get another electro-acoustic (for no real reason other than I love guitars!), and I've been looking at this one on e-bay for quite a whil, not necessarily to buy, just because I love the model.

I was wondering whether you could offer any help / comments about it. It is here:

This is a quality Takamine. As the ebay page says, it is a new model. I think it may well be the follow-up to the one I play. Given the money, I'd buy it.

It has cool features too: Built in chromatic tuner, notch filter, and, of course, all the standards. wink.gif

Let's wait what Grzeg has to say here. smile.gif

The inlay around the soundhole is the same as on mine. Apart from the colour, I do think this guitar may very well be the same as mine. The body shape and the woods are the same too.

I think I have that (almost) exact same one. I bought mine about 3 - 4 years ago and it did not come with the tuner, but has a built in EQ.

Very nice guitar. I think this one is an upper middle level guitar. My bud just bought a tak with the oversized body. Holy smokes does that thing ever sound good!

Play one and see what you think! I find the necks are a bit smaller on the Tak's and the fretboard has a very nice fee to it. I love 'er!! smile.gif

Great quality guitar and I find they are a bit cheaper (in price) than others in the music store, not compromising sound quality.

Nice?! That's pure ugly. It's like an electric guitar, three inches thick with a hole in it .

I actually quite like it; why I know not! laugh.gif

And metallica_fan_03: take 320 and multiply it by 1.4, which is....

Around 450 euros methinks smile.gif

I've played this model a few times and my only gripe is the fingerboard, the rosewood isn't exactly brilliant quality and feels a little 'dry' and 'harsh', you would expect that on a cheap guitar, if only they spent a couple of bucks more on a quality rosewood and a few bucks less on those on-board chromatic tuners, but otherwise it's quite a reasonable guitar.
