Anybody care to throw me a few artists names? I'm looking for artists who do solo instrumental style flamenco (spanish) guitar, without any vocals. I love flamenco but hate the vocals. Any names of artists, songs etc? Muchos apreciados....
Gracias...

Ah, he has some cool stuff. That's the sort of stuff i'm after, I'm now listening to a collaboration of him and al dimeola playing a song called "Rio Ancho". Brillient stuff!

Carlos Montoya has really great stuff too, and some songs by Ottmar Liebert are good, even did a cover of Kashmir flamenco style (IMO was kinda crappy though). If you want more like Rio Ancho, try stuff by the "Fabulous Guitar Trio," de Lucia, diMeloa, and John McLaughlin. The album Friday Nights in San Francisco is just incredible.

Try rodrigo y gabrella(sp?). You might have seen them on 'other voices - songs from a room' on net 2. They're really good.

Yeah, I've seen them play live on the late late show. Amazing stuff... Damien Rice is sort of giving them a hand in the music industry as far as I know.

I got an album of theirs, brillient stuff.
