Airdog..i've heard nickle creek songs. Its' pretty good actually, Bluegrass yet folksy, good songs there.

My Picks:
Mayer
Simon n Garfunkel
James Taylor
The Eagles (when they do acoustics)

I really like Leaves Fall by them. That song always makes me feel happy.

Nickelcreek is so relaxing. Their music is so great, it's profound and new to me, but, it reminds me the older folk songs i'd listen to by Simon n Garfunkel, n James Taylor. It has a good unique sound, with the mandolin, fiddle, guitar, and harmony with the vocals. "Hanging By A Thread" is also a good one.

There are loads of great acoustic bands, but my personal favourite acoustic artist is Kaki King. She's a whole band in one.

Man am i glad you didnt make this into a poll. There are many great acoustic bands, or bands that play acoustic numbers. I like the D also.

I don't really like "comedy" music. It's very annoying to me. Don't exactally know why.

I would have to vote for either S&G or CSN&Y.

Big D is facking hilarious! Love their work.

If I had the choice of putting together a band, it would be drums, guitar (either bass or another guitar) and 2 or more vocals. Tight guitar and tight vocals.
