Well, the fretboard is comming of my WY1K, so I only have my ad60sc. No problem really. I brought the guitar back to the store I got it from, and they said they need to exchange it (why they can't reglue I don't know), but st louis music said they don't have any koa at the moment )or for the next year they expect). That wait plus the 6 month wait to have a lefty made is just too long, They do have what they call a second in Brazillian Rosewood, and I can have it within the month (so I'm told). I can't find the brazillian rosewood on the site, but if I don't like it they said I can have store credit, so I may get my J-185 I've been waiting on for 2-300 or so. Anyway, that's my situation at the moment. I miss my yairi

But you'l love your J185 even more
Honest, it was once my dream guitar... To have it is sort of surreal...

I never planned to use my yairi to gig with, because it's so small, so I ordered it without electronics. My rosewood yairi will have a preamp. I'm not too sure about this. I'm almost sure I'd want the fishman on the gibson, but, not quite ready to make the decision.

Get a soundhole pickup. As far as I know the J185 cutaway comes with electronics as standard, but i've never seen electronics on the J185 jumbo.

They are really made in japan, guess that would be the reasoning behind the japanese name ...
And yea i knew the alvarezs were made in stl.

MMM I didn't know Alvarez's where made in STL...I assumed some sweat shop in MEHICO
I wonder if they have a place to tour there. Anyone know? I think I am going to STL here very soon, I'd love to see a real luther's shop.
