It has been a very long time since I have posted but I sold off my two guitars this week as I can no longer play due to RA. My fingers have started to get really all bent up. I am really bumed out but the pain it too much to deal with.

man thats sad... i hope you get better..
lay off on the steroids though.. take some natural and mild medications.

Really sorry to hear that, Stu. Arthritis is at work on me too, but not to the point of preventing me from playing. Just not quite as fast or exact as I used to be sometimes. You might want to try getting into open-tunings and/or slide where the fingering part is less demanding. (I once saw a one-armed man who wasn't a bad slide guitarist. Just a slide attached to his prosthesis!)
