How do you export Guitar Pro files onto Windows Media Player without losing the RSE? If you use the WAVE export which settings do you use?
I have tried using the WAVE export but the song has no volume. The song has definitely been exported and saved so I don't understand why.

PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

Oh, the irony.

I just found the Guitar Pro 5 .And I couldn`t do it either sad.gif . My suggestion is if you have a digital recorder and have a external speakers. Get a 1/8 plug jack to 1/4 plug and connect the 1/8 plug into external speaker to your 1/4 plug recorder. And hit record and play. I just downloaded the guitar pro 5 , i`m still working with it . I`d say you might have to register your copy , but I can`t. cwy.gif I`ll post again if I can get around it wink.gif

I didn't have any problems with that.

Did you check your mixer settings and make sure that wave, etc. is not muted?

It's basically the MIDI generated sound recorded as .wav
The option is under Export->Wave

Hmmm, I think you've totally misunderstood the question. He can find the option to export it as a wave file, but when he does so the new wave file plays without any sound.

I think you've totally misunderstood my response. It is to the post above it. cheers.gif

And as I've mentioned earlier I have had no problem exporting to wave in GP5. Again, do check your recording levels. smile.gif

Well if you were replying to the post above you, that guy was in fact thethreadstarter. And he knows where the "Export To Wave" option is. If you read his original post, you will see that isn't his problem. His problem is, like the rest of us, that when he does this, and trys to play the wav file, there is no sound from it.

How do you do it on GP4?

Hence the directions and the statement that all it does is record the midi output as wave. You dig, yes?

(P.S: Please don't take offense cheers.gif )
