Jenson on pole. This could be fun.

Amazing stuff. Three weeks ago, Brawn didn't exist as a team, and now they're the front-runners. Should be a cracking race tomorrow.

Don't know whether to get up to watch it, or watch the replay. Somewhat looking forward to it

No doubt about what I'm going to do. It was worth getting up for qualifying this morning just to hear "The Chain" again after 12 long years.

Dum, dumdumdum dumdum dumdumdum duummmmm....

Actually, it was quite funny.
I'm rooting for Jenson, but it's like watching David James playing for England. It's like when will he fek it up.

Actually, I don't recall Button f*cking up very many times in the past. He's certainly done it less often than Hamilton has in his short career. Only one year in his 9 seasons so far has he had a winning car beneath him.

pity the minimalist paint-job is going to be splattered with 'Virgin' from now on.

Yeah, it was quite nice having an almost plain white car for a while there, a bit like James Hunt's Hesketh from the '70s. In Malaysia I'm sure they'll have a red-tinged paint job rather than just a few Virgin decals.

Or a Toyota knock-off. It's about time someone came up with an original livery. The McLaren's quite nice, but silver's been done before. Mostly by Hitler.

There must be a previously unused colour scheme out there somewhere.

Jaguar had BRG, and they were godawful. Purple and pink were both used by Brabham in their death-throes, I think.

We didn't really nead that safety car. At least it isn't a queue for an advert.

Well most of that safety car period was spent with cars going at near full speed after being released. Sort of negates the point of the safety car being there.

Still, at least Jense managed to stay in front.

As ever, the safety car played right into Ferrari's hands. The old, old story.
