Ah, so Massi wasn't fueled up.

Nah, they fuelled quite light, whereas the Brawns filled right up to the brim so they've got the soft tyres for the minimum time at the end.

Be interesting how long Jenson can stay out after Kubica pits.

Should be a while. He was fuelling for about 9 seconds, should come in with 14ish laps to go I think.

They keep saying that he still has to go on super softs yet, but they are a fast tyre, as long as you don't have to go too far on them.

That's Kimi out the way

Yeah, but "too far" for those tyres is anything over about 8 laps. As Brundle's said, they're like an old-style qualifying tyre.

I think it's all in Kubica's hands now. He's near the front, and on the hard tyres. I can see him coasting past the front three soon.

Cracking race that. Plenty of overtaking - given that Albert Park's not a circuit geared towards overtaking, it goes to show that the new regs have worked. Cars were definitely following each other more closely, nose to diffuser at times.

Great drive from Jenson, didn't put a foot wrong. And how the hell did Hamilton get that tank of a car into fourth?!

Hats off to Trully too, starting from the back. But yes, Hamillton, stunning.

They did benefit from a lot of people dropping off in front of them though - both Ferraris, and then Kubica and Vettel. Still, well done to them.

Interesting thought - if the teams with the controversial diffusers get disqualified, then Hamilton will inherit the win laugh.gif

Apparently Trulli went off under the safety car, Hamilton went past, but then Trulli took the place back. Which he isn't allowed to do, if he goes off. So surely Hamilton will get promoted to third by the stewards.

Yeah. But still, he's been bumped up to third now. Some damage limitation exercise that was.
