What he said, strat and tele. Though I've been thinking about trading in the tele for a jazzmaster. Will see.

I love the "raw" sound of the Tele.

Ok, "raw" probably isn't the best adjective to describe the sound of a Telecaster, but you know what I mean.

Well Avenge Seven Fold Rules, i would not say it is the soft rock capitol of the internet, all styles of music is played here. Just most folks here prefer Fender. John (DADFAD) prefers Gibson, and is predominately a Blues Musician, Neil's (Nelio) taste, (as with most of us) is pretty eclectic, and i know he enjoys playing Irish folk and rock. Not sure about Joel (Rumphy) favourite type of music is, but i am sure it's not soft rock. As for me, I like music from all genres, Rock from the 70s being my favourite, but i enjoy everything from Blues to Metal.
Fender, is also used in just about every genre of music going, so you sweeping statement is wrong on so many levels.

And what with the Fender Chrome Lace, the Seymour Duncan Duckbucker, and the D'Marzio Stacked Humbucker, it has a great sound, and is very versatile.

I tend to favor blues and folk-rock these days (if the latter is actually a thing). I've been known to (attempt to) shred some metal, though.

Also, the Tele is making a comeback.. So warm and twangy. Definitely not getting rid of it.

I've been known to play blues on the Soloist, how scandalous.
