Yes. I like Mexican food, but some Hispanic places tend to overuse cilantro in their food. I know about its health benefits, but I use twelve different supplements a day anyway, and a single Selenium or Vitamin E provides more antioxidants than a pound of cilantro.
For some reason, in Indian or Bangladeshi food when cilantro is used, it's flavor isn't so overpowering. Maybe the curry tends to balance its flavor a bit. Just a matter of taste I guess.
In any case, a Happy New Year to all the remaining GTU'ers.
