Hey quick question for the masses, I just got an iPad Air and would like to try and record our band practices with it. I'm obviously not going to get the best quality, but I was wondering if anyone has done recording like this? I downloaded a recording app, but it don't know if I need an external mic? Or even if I should just bag the idea and get a zoom h2 or h4 recorder instead. Any ideas, thoughts, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
