Last Sunday night my dear wife Sharon passed out, and i called an ambulance. She was given a CT scan, and three aneurysms were discovered on her brain, and one had ruptured causing bleeding on her brain. She has been kept in a coma ever since, and has had 4 operations to drain her brain, and to put coils in to stem the bleeding. I really don't understand a lot of the procedures, but i am learning very quickly. The doctors hope to bring her round next Wednesday, but they are not sure if there will be any brain damage nice during one of the procedures she suffered a slight stroke.

All i am asking is for your healing thoughts and prayers, that she may get through this. As it stands her chances of survival are 50/50, and i am truly heart broken. Whatever your beliefs please help her through this.

Rick.

Ah shit, man. That's a rough one. My uncle had a similar thing happen last year, but he's pulled through since then so don't lose heart. Healing and wellness to you and yours.

Sorry to hear that Rick, hope she pulls through. My wifes sister had a bad accident a few years back, and seeing her laid out in a coma for the best part of a week, it was impossible to see how she could pull through, but doctors being doctors and surgeons being surgeons, they all did their jobs and she pulled through in the end. It's true what they say, never stop believing.

Rick, any updates on Sharon's condition?

Hey John. Just got back from the hospital, she has now been in an induced coma for a week now, although she went down hill at the weekend, she is stable now, and although she has not shown signs of healing, she is not getting any worse. Tomorrow they well do another CT scan to see if they can start to bring her into a lighter state of sedation, or keep her where she is. if they can bring her up to a lighter state, then some of her brain and body functions can start working on their own. They are a little concerned that her pupils are not responding to light much, but there is a little flicker, which means she is still in there. keep those prayers coming. :)
